The newest 10th Gen Intel Core CPU powers Chromebook Flip and customers may select up to a core i7 version.
A new Chromebook dubbed the Flip C436, an upgraded version of the Flip C434, has come out for Asus. The laptop has an appearance identical to the one before it, Flip C434, a 1080p panel with a coverage of 100% from the sRGB range. The laptop is said to be the smallest 14-inch Chromebook on the market, with just 14mm in thickness and only 2.4 pounds in weight (around 1kg). There are also two USB Type C ports on the Flip C436, but no USB-A ports are available to verify the total thickness.
The new Chromebook Flip is powered by the newest Intel Core 10th Gener CPU, and customers may select a Core i7 version all the way. Up to 16GB of RAM and 512GB of SSD are available. Additional features include an improved quad-speaker audio system, pen compatibility, biometric identification fingerprint sensor, Wi-Fi 6, and Bluetooth 5.0.
Asus says that an upgrade will also be present in the battery life. The notebook should last up to 12 hours, 2 hours longer than the previous one. This makes it possible for Intelâ€TMs Project Athena to qualify for the core i5 and core i7 versions of the laptop. As of now, the Asus Chromebook Flip C436 is unknown, however, it is anticipated that this laptop will reach markets in the second quarter of 2020.
